Brazilian AI Startup Imersa Secures $50,000 in Seed Funding to Fuel Sales Copilot Growth

Brazilian artificial intelligence startup Imersa has successfully secured $50,000 in its first funding round, backed by investor Flávio Szenkier. The early-stage financing values the young enterprise at approximately $750,000, marking a significant early milestone for the company as it looks to expand its footprint in the competitive business-to-business sales technology sector.

The investment agreement is structured in two distinct phases to align financial backing with operational milestones. The transaction includes an initial cash injection of $30,000, supplemented by an additional $20,000 that is directly tied to specific performance targets. Building on this momentum, Imersa is already setting its sights on a larger fundraising objective, planning to secure an additional $100,000 from a combination of angel investors and venture capital funds in the near future.

Founded in 2023, Imersa operates at the intersection of artificial intelligence and sales enablement. The company has developed an advanced AI sales copilot designed to transform how B2B sales teams handle client interactions. The platform works by analyzing sales conversations in real time, actively identifying customer objections as they arise during pitches and negotiations. Furthermore, the technology provides actionable feedback and facilitates targeted training simulations, equipping sales professionals with the insights and practice needed to continuously improve their performance and close deals more effectively.

The newly acquired capital will be channeled directly into core areas of business development. Imersa plans to utilize the funds to further refine and enhance its proprietary technology, hire specialized researchers to advance its artificial intelligence capabilities, and acquire high-quality B2B market data to strengthen its analytics engine. In tandem with its technological expansion, the startup is preparing for a strategic relocation to São Paulo, Brazil’s primary financial and technological hub, where it aims to double the size of its current seven-person team to support its growing operational demands.

Before pivoting toward the development and launch of its current software-as-a-service platform, Imersa established a strong foundation in the commercial services sector. The founding team provided specialized sales training and demand generation services to a diverse portfolio of more than 100 clients. This hands-on experience in the trenches of B2B sales gave the founders deep insight into the common pain points, communication hurdles, and operational inefficiencies faced by sales departments, directly inspiring the creation of the AI sales copilot.

As the B2B landscape continues to digitize and demand for real-time sales intelligence grows, Imersa positions itself to capture the attention of businesses seeking to optimize their revenue operations through artificial intelligence. With its initial funding secured, a clear roadmap for technological enhancement, and an impending move to São Paulo, the startup is poised for its next phase of growth in the Latin American tech ecosystem.
