Brazilian AI Startup Imersa Secures $50,000 in First Funding Round to Fuel Sales Copilot Growth

Brazilian startup Imersa has successfully secured $50,000 in its initial funding round, backed by investor Flávio Szenkier. The early-stage financing values the emerging artificial intelligence enterprise at approximately $750,000, marking a significant milestone for the young company as it looks to expand its footprint in the competitive B2B sales technology landscape.

The investment structure is divided into two distinct phases to align with corporate milestones. According to the company, the transaction includes an initial disbursement of $30,000, with an additional $20,000 directly tied to specific performance targets. Building upon this momentum, Imersa is already setting its sights on a larger financial horizon, planning to raise an additional $100,000 from a combination of angel investors and venture capital funds in the near future.

Founded in 2023, Imersa operates at the intersection of artificial intelligence and sales enablement. The startup has developed an advanced AI sales copilot designed to transform how business-to-business sales teams operate. The proprietary platform is engineered to analyze B2B sales conversations in real time, detecting nuanced customer objections as they arise during interactions. Beyond mere observation, the system provides immediate feedback and immersive training simulations, equipping sales representatives with the insights and practice needed to continually improve their closing performance and communication strategies.

The newly acquired capital will be channeled directly into core operational areas critical to the startup’s next phase of evolution. Imersa plans to dedicate a substantial portion of the funds to enhancing its underlying technology infrastructure, recruiting top-tier researchers to advance its AI capabilities, and acquiring comprehensive B2B market data to sharpen the precision of its sales insights.

In tandem with its technological and product development goals, Imersa is preparing for a strategic geographic relocation. The company is set to move its headquarters to São Paulo, Brazil’s premier business and technological hub, positioning itself closer to major enterprise clients, talent pools, and investment networks. Furthermore, the startup intends to double the size of its current seven-person team, bringing on new professionals to support its expanding operational demands and market ambitions.

Before pivoting toward the development and launch of its current software platform, the founding team behind Imersa spent considerable time deeply embedded in the realities of commercial operations. The enterprise previously provided specialized sales training and demand generation services to a robust portfolio of more than 100 clients. This extensive hands-on service background provided the founders with direct, practical insights into the common bottlenecks, communication hurdles, and operational challenges faced by modern sales departments—experience that directly informed the conception and design of their current AI copilot technology.
