Argentine Fintech Rebill Secures $5.4M Pre-Series A to Expand Cross-Border Payment Infrastructure in Latin America

Argentine fintech Rebill has successfully closed a $5.4 million pre-Series A funding round, pushing its total capital raised to more than $9 million since its inception. The fresh injection of capital underscores growing investor confidence in the company’s cross-border payment infrastructure, which is designed to simplify how businesses handle transactions across Latin America and the United States.

The latest funding round attracted participation from prominent global investors and prominent industry figures, including Tiger Global, Y Combinator, SV Angel, Soma Capital, Guillermo Rauch, and Arash Ferdowsi. This high-profile backing highlights Rebill’s strategic position in the fast-evolving Latin American financial technology ecosystem, where localized payment complexities frequently hinder regional expansion for growing enterprises and digital platforms.

Founded in 2020, Rebill set out to address a fundamental friction point for businesses operating across borders: the traditional requirement to establish a legal entity in every single target market just to accept local payment methods. By providing a unified payment infrastructure, Rebill allows companies to seamlessly collect local payments in multiple countries without the heavy administrative and regulatory burdens typically associated with foreign market entry. The company currently operates in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and the United States, positioning itself as a vital bridge for businesses seeking efficient regional scale.

With the newly secured $5.4 million in its coffers, Rebill plans to execute a targeted growth strategy. The company will direct funds toward deepening its footprint in its existing markets and accelerating efforts to attract larger enterprise-level clients. Furthermore, the capital will fuel the expansion of two specialized service offerings: Rebill Treasury and Rebill Platforms.

Rebill Treasury is designed to help companies efficiently manage and navigate funds held in multiple currencies, addressing the currency volatility and liquidity management challenges that frequently plague international operations in Latin America. Meanwhile, Rebill Platforms empowers software companies and marketplaces to embed payment services directly into their own ecosystems, allowing them to offer branded financial experiences to their end users without building the underlying infrastructure from scratch.

The funding milestone arrives on the heels of a period of substantial commercial momentum for the fintech. Between January and September 2026, Rebill experienced explosive growth, quadrupling its number of active merchants while simultaneously tripling its monthly payment volume. This rapid scaling reflects an increasing demand among modern businesses for agile, borderless financial tools. The company’s diverse client roster already includes notable organizations such as educational platform Henry, travel assistance provider Assist 365, and technical training provider TripleTen, demonstrating the broad applicability of Rebill’s infrastructure across various digital sectors.

As Latin America’s digital economy continues to mature, platforms that remove regulatory and operational barriers to cross-border commerce are playing an increasingly critical role. By streamlining local payment acceptance and expanding its treasury and platform services, Rebill is well-positioned to capture a larger share of the region’s burgeoning fintech market as it moves into its next phase of growth.
