Brazilian AI Startup Imersa Secures $50,000 in First Funding Round to Fuel Sales Copilot Growth

Brazilian artificial intelligence startup Imersa has successfully closed its first funding round, securing $50,000 from investor Flávio Szenkier. The foundational investment values the early-stage enterprise at approximately $750,000, marking a significant milestone for the young company as it looks to expand its footprint in the competitive business-to-business sales technology sector.

The newly secured capital is structured to support Imersa’s immediate operational expansion, featuring an initial disbursement of $30,000 alongside an additional $20,000 tied directly to specific performance targets. Building on this momentum, the startup has already set its sights on a larger fundraising horizon, revealing plans to raise an additional $100,000 from a mix of prominent angel investors and venture capital funds in the near future.

Founded in 2023, Imersa specializes in the development of an innovative AI sales copilot designed to transform how business-to-business sales teams operate. The platform’s core technology functions by analyzing B2B sales conversations in real time. As sales representatives converse with prospective clients, the AI system actively listens, identifies customer objections, and delivers instant, actionable feedback. Furthermore, the platform incorporates training simulations aimed at sharpening the skills of sales professionals, ultimately helping teams continuously improve their performance, refine their messaging, and close deals more effectively.

Imersa raises $50K to develop AI sales copilot

Before developing and launching its sophisticated AI platform, the team behind Imersa built a strong foundation in the commercial sector by providing traditional sales training and demand generation services. Through this hands-on consulting and service-oriented background, the company successfully worked with more than 100 clients, gaining deep insights into the everyday pain points, bottlenecks, and operational challenges that modern sales organizations face. This extensive market experience directly informed the creation of the Imersa sales copilot, ensuring the technology addresses real-world demands rather than theoretical use cases.

With the fresh injection of capital from its recent funding round, Imersa is poised to accelerate several key areas of its business development. The company intends to allocate a significant portion of the funds toward enhancing its core artificial intelligence technology, refining its conversational analysis algorithms, and expanding its proprietary feature set. Additionally, Imersa plans to invest in recruiting specialized researchers to drive its technical innovation forward, as well as acquiring valuable B2B market data to further train and optimize its models.

Beyond technological advancements, the startup is preparing for a strategic physical expansion. Imersa plans to relocate its headquarters to São Paulo, Brazil’s premier economic and technological hub, positioning the company closer to major corporate clients, investors, and a denser pool of tech talent. In tandem with the relocation, the startup aims to double the size of its current seven-person team, bringing on new engineering, product, and commercial talent to support its growing customer base and scaling operations.

The investment from Flávio Szenkier and the subsequent plans for expansion underscore the growing appetite for verticalized artificial intelligence solutions within Latin America’s burgeoning tech ecosystem. As businesses across the region increasingly turn to automation and data-driven tools to optimize their workflows, startups like Imersa are finding receptive markets for products that directly impact revenue generation. With its combination of practical sales expertise, real-time AI capabilities, and a clear roadmap for growth, Imersa enters its next chapter well-positioned to scale its operations within the Brazilian market and beyond.
