Argentine Fintech Rebill Secures $5.4M Pre-Series A Funding to Expand Cross-Border Payment Infrastructure in Latin America

Argentine fintech startup Rebill has successfully raised $5.4 million in a pre-Series A funding round, bringing its total capital raised to over $9 million since its inception. The latest investment injection drew participation from a prominent group of global venture capital heavyweights and notable angel investors, including Tiger Global, Y Combinator, SV Angel, Soma Capital, Guillermo Rauch, and Arash Ferdowsi. This robust backing underscores growing investor confidence in scalable payment infrastructure solutions designed to simplify cross-border commerce across Latin America and beyond.

Founded in 2020, Rebill addresses one of the most persistent operational hurdles faced by modern digital businesses: the complexity of cross-border transactions. The company provides a sophisticated payment infrastructure that empowers businesses to accept local payment methods in multiple foreign countries without the burdensome requirement of establishing a physical legal entity in each individual market. By streamlining this regional expansion process, Rebill allows companies to integrate diverse payment systems seamlessly through a unified interface.

Currently, Rebill maintains an active operational footprint across several key markets in the Americas, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and the United States. This strategic multi-country presence enables the fintech firm to bridge the financial divide for businesses seeking to scale across Latin American borders, where fragmented banking regulations and localized payment preferences have historically created significant friction for merchants and digital platforms.

Argentine fintech Rebill raises $5.4M Pre Series A round

With the fresh infusion of capital from its pre-Series A round, Rebill has mapped out a comprehensive growth strategy aimed at solidifying its market position. The company plans to dedicate a portion of the newly acquired funds to accelerating its expansion within its existing markets, allowing for deeper market penetration and enhanced regional support. Additionally, Rebill aims to attract larger enterprise-level clients by showcasing the scalability, security, and reliability of its underlying payment technology.

A significant pillar of Rebill’s upcoming growth phase involves the expansion of two specialized services: Rebill Treasury and Rebill Platforms. Rebill Treasury is designed to assist companies in effectively managing their capital and funds across multiple currencies, a crucial capability for businesses operating internationally amidst currency fluctuations and exchange rate complexities. Meanwhile, Rebill Platforms is tailored for software companies and online marketplaces, enabling them to embed and offer comprehensive payment services directly to their own customers under their respective brand names, thereby unlocking new revenue streams for software providers.

The funding milestone follows a period of exceptional commercial traction for the company. Between January and September of 2026, Rebill experienced explosive growth, successfully quadrupling its total number of active merchants while simultaneously tripling its monthly payment volume. This rapid scaling reflects an increasing market demand for flexible, cross-border payment architectures that can adapt to the diverse regulatory and consumer landscapes of the Americas. Rebill’s robust client roster features a diverse array of innovative companies across various sectors, including educational platform Henry, travel assistance provider Assist 365, and online tech school TripleTen.
