Flai raises $27M Series A to expand AI agents for US car dealerships

Founded in 2025 by Ari Polakof, Alen Polakof, and Juan Alzugaray, Flai specializes in developing sophisticated AI agents tailored to the unique demands of automotive dealerships. The company’s platform is engineered to autonomously manage a wide array of customer interactions, including incoming calls, text messages, and email communications. Beyond handling routine inquiries, Flai’s technology actively schedules customer appointments, dispatches timely maintenance reminders, and executes persistent follow-ups with potential vehicle buyers to nurture leads through the sales pipeline. To ensure seamless adoption, the platform integrates directly with existing dealership management systems (DMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) software already utilized by auto retailers.

The rapid trajectory of the startup since its inception in 2025 has been nothing short of remarkable. Over the past year alone, Flai has experienced a phenomenal twentyfold increase in its revenue, reflecting an overwhelming demand for automated customer engagement solutions within the automotive retail market. This explosive financial growth has been accompanied by a dramatic scaling of the company’s internal workforce. The original founding trio has expanded the team to approximately 40 employees, positioning the startup to handle its rapidly growing enterprise footprint. Today, Flai’s platform handles more than 50,000 scheduled appointments every single month and counts more than 10 of the 50 largest automotive dealership groups in the United States among its expanding client base.

With the newly secured $27 million in Series A funding, Flai has laid out an ambitious roadmap for its next phase of corporate growth. The company intends to channel the capital into aggressive customer acquisition efforts, driving new sales while simultaneously increasing monetization and service adoption among its existing client base. Furthermore, the funding will support continued expansion of the startup’s operational team to keep pace with soaring demand. In a testament to the founders’ roots and their commitment to the Latin American technology ecosystem, Flai has also announced plans to open a new corporate office in Uruguay in November 2026, creating high-value technical and operational jobs in the region and further bridging the technological bridge between Silicon Valley and South America.
