Brazilian AI Startup Imersa Secures $50,000 in First Funding Round to Fuel Sales Copilot Growth

Brazilian startup Imersa has successfully secured $50,000 in its initial funding round, backed by investor Flávio Szenkier. The early-stage financing values the emerging artificial intelligence enterprise at approximately $750,000, marking a significant milestone for the young company as it looks to expand its footprint in the competitive business-to-business sales technology sector.

The investment structure includes an immediate injection of $30,000, with an additional $20,000 contingent upon the achievement of specific performance targets. Building on this momentum, Imersa is already setting its sights on a larger fundraising goal, planning to secure an additional $100,000 from a combination of angel investors and venture capital funds to accelerate its product roadmap and market expansion initiatives.

Founded in 2023, Imersa specializes in the development of an innovative artificial intelligence sales copilot. The technology is designed to monitor and analyze business-to-business sales conversations in real time. By listening to live interactions, the platform can quickly identify customer objections, surface critical insights, and provide instant feedback. Furthermore, the system incorporates training simulations tailored to help corporate sales teams refine their techniques, overcome common pushbacks, and systematically improve their overall closing performance.

Imersa raises $50K to develop AI sales copilot

Before launching its proprietary software platform, the founding team laid a strong operational foundation by providing traditional sales training and comprehensive demand generation services to a diverse portfolio of more than 100 clients. This extensive hands-on experience in the trenches of corporate sales gave the founders deep insight into the everyday pain points faced by commercial teams, ultimately inspiring the development of their automated copilot technology.

With the fresh capital secured from Flávio Szenkier, Imersa intends to execute several strategic operational objectives. A primary focus will be dedicated to advancing its core technology, enhancing the intelligence and responsiveness of the AI copilot. To achieve this, the startup plans to hire specialized researchers and data scientists, while also acquiring rich business-to-business market data to train and refine its algorithms.

Beyond product development, Imersa is preparing for a period of physical and organizational growth. The company plans to relocate its headquarters to São Paulo, Brazil’s premier technology and financial hub, positioning itself closer to key talent pools, major corporate clients, and active venture capital networks. In tandem with the move, Imersa aims to double the size of its current seven-person team, bringing on new engineering, product, and commercial talent to support its next phase of scaling.

The funding event reflects the growing appetite among investors for practical, revenue-focused artificial intelligence applications within Latin America’s burgeoning tech ecosystem. As corporate sales organizations increasingly look toward automation and real-time analytics to boost productivity and conversion rates, platforms like Imersa’s sales copilot are finding a receptive market. With its initial capital secured, strategic relocation plans underway, and a clear vision for product enhancement, Imersa is well-positioned to transition from an early-stage service provider to a scalable software product company in the regional B2B landscape.
