Argentine Fintech Rebill Secures $5.4M Pre-Series A Funding to Expand Cross-Border Payment Infrastructure in Latin America

Argentine fintech Rebill has successfully closed a $5.4 million pre-Series A funding round, pushing its total capital raised to more than $9 million since its inception. The latest investment injection drew participation from a prominent group of global venture capital firms and notable angel investors, including Tiger Global, Y Combinator, SV Angel, Soma Capital, Guillermo Rauch, and Arash Ferdowsi. This robust backing highlights growing investor confidence in regional financial technology solutions that address complex cross-border trade and compliance hurdles across Latin America and beyond.

Founded in 2020, Rebill operates in a specialized sector of financial technology by providing comprehensive payment infrastructure designed to simplify how businesses collect revenue across international borders. The company’s platform allows enterprises to accept local payment methods in multiple foreign jurisdictions without the traditional requirement of establishing a physical or legal entity in each individual market. By removing these bureaucratic and financial barriers, Rebill enables merchants to scale their operations internationally with significantly reduced friction and operational overhead.

Currently, Rebill maintains an active operational footprint across several key markets in the Western Hemisphere, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and the United States. This strategic multi-country presence positions the company to capitalize on the surging demand for seamless digital commerce capabilities throughout Latin America, where businesses frequently encounter fragmented financial systems, diverse regulatory frameworks, and varied consumer payment preferences.

Argentine fintech Rebill raises $5.4M Pre Series A round

The newly secured capital from the pre-Series A round will be deployed toward several core growth initiatives. First, Rebill plans to deepen its market penetration and expand its commercial footprint within its existing operational regions. Second, the company aims to attract and onboard larger enterprise clients, signaling a strategic shift toward high-volume corporate accounts. Finally, the fresh funding will accelerate the expansion of two specialized service offerings: Rebill Treasury and Rebill Platforms.

Rebill Treasury is designed to help companies efficiently manage and navigate funds held in multiple currencies, addressing a critical operational pain point for businesses operating across borders with fluctuating exchange rates and foreign exchange controls. Meanwhile, Rebill Platforms empowers software companies and digital marketplaces to seamlessly offer integrated payment services under their own proprietary brands, tapping into the lucrative embedded finance sector.

The company’s strategic focus and product development efforts are yielding measurable commercial results. Between January and September of 2026, Rebill experienced remarkable growth, successfully quadrupling its number of active merchants while tripling its overall monthly payment volume. This rapid expansion underscores the strong market demand for the fintech’s infrastructure solutions. Rebill’s growing client roster already features a diverse group of prominent companies, including educational platform Henry, travel assistance provider Assist 365, and technical training provider TripleTen, all of which rely on the fintech’s technology to streamline their financial operations and revenue collection processes.
