Brazilian AI Startup Imersa Secures $50,000 in Seed Funding to Fuel Sales Copilot Growth

Brazilian artificial intelligence startup Imersa has successfully secured $50,000 in its first funding round, backed by investor Flávio Szenkier. The early-stage financing values the young technology company at approximately $750,000, marking a significant milestone for the firm as it looks to expand its footprint in the competitive business-to-business sales enablement sector.

The investment structure includes an initial disbursement of $30,000, with an additional $20,000 directly tied to the achievement of specific performance targets. Building upon this initial momentum, Imersa is already looking ahead to its next financial phase. The startup plans to raise an additional $100,000 through a subsequent round involving angel investors and venture capital funds to further accelerate its commercial and technological objectives.

Founded in 2023, Imersa specializes in the development of an advanced artificial intelligence sales copilot. The platform is designed to monitor and analyze B2B sales conversations in real time, giving sales organizations an edge by instantly identifying customer objections, providing live feedback, and offering interactive training simulations. These features are engineered to help sales teams systematically improve their performance, refine their messaging, and close deals more effectively in fast-paced commercial environments.

The freshly secured capital will be deployed across several core areas to support the company’s ongoing evolution. Imersa intends to use the funds to upgrade its core artificial intelligence technology, hire specialized researchers to deepen its technical capabilities, and acquire robust B2B market data to enhance its analytical models. In tandem with its technical expansion, the startup is preparing to relocate its headquarters to São Paulo, Brazil’s primary financial and technological hub, while simultaneously working to double the size of its current seven-person team.

Before pivoting to the development of its proprietary AI platform, Imersa operated as a specialized service provider, delivering targeted sales training and demand generation services to a diverse portfolio of more than 100 clients. This foundational industry experience provided the founding team with deep insights into the everyday pain points, inefficiencies, and communication breakdowns that sales professionals encounter, directly inspiring the creation of their automated sales assistant.

As the Latin American technology ecosystem continues to mature, startups focusing on artificial intelligence and business productivity are increasingly attracting the attention of regional angel investors and venture capitalists. With its recent capital injection and upcoming relocation to São Paulo, Imersa is positioning itself to capture a larger share of the growing demand for intelligent sales automation tools across the region.
