Brazilian Sales AI Startup Imersa Secures $50,000 in First Funding Round to Expand Operations

Brazilian artificial intelligence startup Imersa has successfully secured $50,000 in its first funding round, marking a significant milestone for the young enterprise as it looks to scale its operations within the competitive business-to-business technology sector. The investment was led by angel investor Flávio Szenkier and values the emerging company at approximately $750,000.

The financial injection is structured to support Imersa’s immediate growth initiatives and technological advancements. According to the terms of the transaction, the funding includes an initial disbursement of $30,000, with an additional $20,000 directly tied to the achievement of specific performance targets. This milestone-based approach ensures that the startup remains focused on executing its strategic roadmap while delivering tangible results for its investors.

Looking ahead, the company does not plan to stop with this initial raise. Imersa is actively preparing to secure an additional $100,000 in capital through subsequent fundraising efforts, targeting both angel investors and venture capital funds to further accelerate its expansion and product development cycle.

Founded in 2023, Imersa specializes in the development of an innovative AI sales copilot designed to transform how business-to-business sales teams operate. The company’s core technology functions by analyzing B2B sales conversations in real time. As sales professionals interact with prospective clients, the AI system listens, detects customer objections, and provides immediate, actionable feedback. Furthermore, the platform incorporates training simulations aimed at helping sales teams continuously refine their techniques, improve their pitch delivery, and ultimately boost their overall conversion rates and performance metrics.

Imersa raises $50K to develop AI sales copilot

Before pivoting toward the development and launch of its proprietary software platform, the founders of Imersa gained deep industry experience by operating as a service provider. The team offered specialized sales training and demand generation services to a robust portfolio consisting of more than 100 clients. This foundational hands-on experience provided the startup with invaluable insights into the everyday pain points, communication hurdles, and operational inefficiencies faced by modern B2B sales organizations, directly inspiring the creation of their AI-driven solution.

With the new capital now secured, Imersa has outlined an ambitious utilization plan aimed at cementing its position in the market. The startup intends to channel the funds into technological improvements to make its sales copilot even more robust and accurate. Additionally, a portion of the capital will be dedicated to hiring top-tier researchers to advance the platform’s artificial intelligence capabilities and acquiring essential B2B market data to train and refine the software’s analytical models.

As part of its broader growth strategy, Imersa is also planning a strategic relocation. The company is set to move its headquarters to São Paulo, Brazil’s premier economic and technological hub, positioning itself closer to key clients, major venture capital networks, and a wider pool of tech talent. Alongside this geographic move, the startup aims to double the size of its current seven-person team, bringing on new professionals across engineering, research, and business development to support its scaling ambitions.

The funding round and subsequent expansion plans highlight the growing appetite for artificial intelligence applications tailored to specific enterprise workflows within the Latin American startup ecosystem, as founders continue to build solutions that address operational productivity and revenue generation.
