Argentine Fintech Rebill Secures $5.4M Pre-Series A Funding to Expand Cross-Border Payment Infrastructure in Latin America

Argentine fintech startup Rebill has successfully raised $5.4 million in a pre-Series A funding round, a milestone that brings the company’s total capital raised to more than $9 million since its inception. The fresh financial backing underscores growing investor confidence in cross-border payment infrastructure tailored to the unique economic and regulatory complexities of Latin America.

The funding round attracted participation from a prominent group of global venture capital firms and notable angel investors. Among the institutional backers are Tiger Global, Y Combinator, SV Angel, and Soma Capital. Additionally, the round saw strategic investments from high-profile technology leaders, including Guillermo Rauch and Arash Ferdowsi. This roster of seasoned investors brings not only capital but also deep technical and scaling expertise to support Rebill as it enters its next phase of commercial growth.

Founded in 2020, Rebill was created to address a persistent friction point for businesses operating across multiple Latin American countries and international borders: the challenge of collecting local payments without the traditional burden of establishing a separate legal entity in every target market. Operating locally often requires complex corporate structuring, local banking relationships, and compliance with varying regional tax frameworks. Rebill’s payment infrastructure abstracts this complexity, allowing businesses to seamlessly accept local payment methods across multiple jurisdictions through a single integration.

The company currently operates across a strategic footprint that includes Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and the United States. By bridging these key economies, Rebill enables merchants to scale their geographic reach rapidly, unlocking new customer bases and revenue streams that might otherwise be out of reach due to bureaucratic and administrative hurdles.

The newly secured capital will be deployed across several strategic areas designed to accelerate the company’s market penetration and product roadmap. A primary focus for Rebill will be deepening its presence in its existing markets, allowing the company to capture a larger share of the burgeoning regional digital payments economy. Furthermore, the startup intends to leverage the funds to attract larger enterprise clients, signaling a strategic shift toward high-volume corporate accounts that demand robust, scalable, and secure payment processing capabilities.

In addition to market expansion and enterprise sales, Rebill plans to fuel the growth of two key specialized services: Rebill Treasury and Rebill Platforms. Rebill Treasury is designed to help companies efficiently manage funds across multiple currencies, a critical capability for businesses operating in Latin America where currency volatility and foreign exchange controls can significantly impact operational margins. Meanwhile, Rebill Platforms empowers software companies and digital marketplaces to embed payment services directly into their own ecosystems, allowing them to offer customized financial transactions to their users under their own brand names.

The funding injection comes on the heels of a period of exceptional commercial momentum for the fintech. Between January and September of 2026, Rebill experienced extraordinary growth, quadrupling its number of active merchants while simultaneously tripling its monthly payment volume. This rapid scaling reflects an increasing market demand for agile payment infrastructure that can adapt to the diverse regulatory and consumer preferences found throughout the Americas. Rebill’s growing roster of clients spans various sectors of the digital economy, including prominent organizations such as Henry, Assist 365, and TripleTen, all of which rely on the fintech’s infrastructure to streamline their payment operations and support their international growth ambitions.
