Brazilian AI Startup Imersa Secures $50,000 in First Funding Round to Fuel Sales Copilot Growth

Brazilian startup Imersa has successfully closed its first funding round, securing $50,000 from investor Flávio Szenkier in a deal that values the early-stage enterprise at approximately $750,000. The newly acquired capital marks a significant milestone for the young company as it looks to scale its operations, enhance its proprietary artificial intelligence technology, and expand its footprint within the competitive B2B software ecosystem in Latin America.

The investment agreement is structured to support both immediate development and long-term execution. It includes an initial cash injection of $30,000, supplemented by an additional $20,000 that is directly tied to specific performance milestones. This milestone-based approach ensures that the company remains focused on execution and strategic growth as it transitions into its next phase of commercial deployment. Furthermore, this initial round serves as a stepping stone for a broader capital-raising strategy. Imersa has announced plans to secure an additional $100,000 in upcoming funding efforts, targeting angel investors and venture capital funds that specialize in early-stage technology and artificial intelligence innovations.

Founded in 2023, Imersa specializes in the development of an artificial intelligence sales copilot designed specifically for business-to-business environments. The company’s core technology is engineered to monitor, record, and analyze B2B sales conversations in real time. By processing these interactions, the AI platform can automatically identify customer objections, evaluate conversation dynamics, and deliver actionable feedback to sales representatives. In addition to real-time analytical insights, the platform provides automated training simulations. These simulations are built to help sales teams refine their pitch, handle difficult objections more effectively, and ultimately improve their overall conversion rates and sales performance.

Imersa raises $50K to develop AI sales copilot

The journey toward developing this AI-driven product was informed by extensive industry experience. Before officially launching its software platform, the founding team operated a service-based business model, providing specialized sales training and demand generation services to a diverse portfolio of more than 100 clients. This hands-on background gave the founders deep insight into the common bottlenecks, communication challenges, and operational inefficiencies that traditional B2B sales teams face daily. Translating this domain expertise into a scalable software solution became the primary catalyst for the creation of Imersa’s sales copilot.

With the fresh capital from its inaugural funding round, Imersa has outlined an ambitious growth roadmap. The company intends to channel a significant portion of the funds into technological improvements to make its AI copilot more robust, accurate, and responsive. Additionally, the startup plans to invest in hiring specialized researchers to advance its machine learning capabilities and acquire critical B2B market data that will further train and refine its algorithms.

Beyond product development, the investment will support strategic organizational scaling. Imersa plans to relocate its headquarters to São Paulo, placing the company at the heart of Brazil’s most prominent and dynamic technology hub. Alongside this move, the startup aims to double the size of its current seven-person team, bringing in fresh talent across engineering, product development, data science, and customer success to support its expanding client base and accelerated product roadmap.

As the broader Latin American technology sector continues to embrace artificial intelligence solutions tailored to operational efficiency, Imersa’s early momentum highlights a growing appetite among investors for specialized B2B productivity tools. With its sights set on securing additional venture capital and expanding its technical capabilities, the Brazilian startup is positioning itself to capture a larger share of the evolving sales technology market.
