Brazilian Sales-Tech Startup Imersa Secures $50,000 in First Funding Round to Fuel AI Copilot Development

Brazilian startup Imersa has successfully closed its first funding round, securing $50,000 from investor Flávio Szenkier in a deal that values the early-stage enterprise at approximately $750,000. The capital injection marks a significant milestone for the young company as it looks to accelerate the development and market penetration of its flagship artificial intelligence product tailored for business-to-business sales environments.

According to the terms of the investment agreement, the funding is structured to support both immediate operational needs and future performance milestones. The transaction includes an initial disbursement of $30,000, complemented by an additional $20,000 that is directly tied to specific performance targets. Building on this momentum, Imersa is already setting its sights on a larger fundraising horizon, planning to secure an additional $100,000 in capital from a mix of angel investors and venture capital funds to further scale its operations.

Founded in 2023, Imersa operates at the intersection of sales enablement and artificial intelligence. The startup has developed an innovative AI sales copilot designed to transform how business-to-business sales teams handle live interactions. The proprietary technology analyzes sales conversations in real time, actively listening and processing dialogue to identify customer objections, hesitations, and buying signals as they happen. Beyond mere transcription or analysis, the platform provides immediate feedback and immersive training simulations. These features are engineered to help sales representatives refine their pitching techniques, overcome complex objections, and continuously improve their overall performance in high-stakes commercial environments.

The newly secured funds will be channeled into several key areas critical to the company’s growth trajectory. Imersa plans to dedicate a substantial portion of the capital to enhancing its core technology infrastructure, refining its artificial intelligence algorithms, and expanding its proprietary feature set. Additionally, the startup intends to invest in talent acquisition by hiring specialized researchers to push the boundaries of its conversational intelligence models. To fuel its go-to-market strategy, the company will also allocate resources toward acquiring comprehensive business-to-business market data, enabling its platform to deliver even more contextual and accurate insights to sales professionals.

As part of its broader expansion strategy, Imersa is preparing to relocate its headquarters to São Paulo, Brazil’s premier technology and commercial hub, positioning the startup closer to major enterprise clients, top-tier talent pools, and vibrant venture capital networks. Alongside the geographical move, the company aims to double the size of its current seven-person team, bringing in fresh expertise across engineering, product development, data science, and customer success to support its growing operational demands.

Before pivoting toward the development and launch of its automated software platform, Imersa established a strong foundation in the commercial sector by providing hands-on sales training and specialized demand generation services. Through this foundational work, the founding team gained deep, firsthand insights into the everyday pain points, inefficiencies, and conversion bottlenecks experienced by commercial organizations. By working directly with more than 100 clients during its service-oriented phase, the company gathered invaluable domain expertise that directly informed the design and functionality of its current AI sales copilot, ensuring the technology addresses real-world challenges faced by sales departments across the Latin American market and beyond.
