Shakira has officially cemented another major milestone in her legendary career. The Colombian superstar’s October 3 concert in Madrid, Spain, has made history as the most-viewed livestream performance by a female artist on Amazon Music to date.
The streaming service announced the record-breaking news via press release on Sunday, October 4, just one day after the high-profile performance was broadcast live to millions of fans around the world. The monumental concert formed part of Shakira’s exclusive 12-date residency in Spain’s vibrant capital city at the specially constructed Shakira Stadium, an integral stop on her massive Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.
The historic evening delivered everything fans have come to expect from the multi-Grammy Award-winning artist, blending a career-spanning setlist that touched upon three decades of groundbreaking Latin music hits. However, the night truly reached an unforgettable climax when Shakira brought out a very special surprise guest: pop powerhouse Dua Lipa.
To the absolute delight of the more than 50,000 fans packed into the stadium—and the countless others catching the broadcast from home via Amazon Music, Prime Video, and Twitch—Dua Lipa joined the headliner onstage. Together, the two superstars delivered an intimate, acoustic rendition of "Antología," a beloved fan-favorite track originally released on Shakira’s landmark 1997 studio album, Pies Descalzos.
The raw, stripped-down duet provided a powerful emotional anchor for the evening. Following the performance, an elated Shakira gushed to the audience that the special moment was precisely "what this tour was missing."

Introducing her surprise guest to the roaring crowd, Shakira reflected on the significance of the collaboration. "For me, it’s an honor and a privilege to sing this song, which means so much to me, with this woman who is so admired and loved around the world," the global icon shared.
The admiration was visibly mutual. Shortly after stepping off the stage, Dua Lipa took to Instagram to share her excitement with her followers. Posting a heartfelt message in Spanish, the British-Albanian singer wrote, "I felt that you, me, and the audience were one. Very grateful to take home such a beautiful memory!!!"
The venue itself played a significant role in the scale and ambition of the residency. Shakira Stadium was erected as a massive temporary venue situated within Madrid’s prominent Iberdrola Music complex, built specifically to house the artist’s exclusive run of shows in the city. The residency officially opened on September 18 and is scheduled to conclude with its twelfth and final date on October 11.
Amazon Music’s globally broadcasted livestream of the Saturday night performance served as a flagship event for the streamer’s 2026 Women Shaping Latin Music campaign. The initiative is designed to celebrate the influential female artists, innovative sounds, and profound cultural movements continually driving the Latin music genre forward on an international scale.
