Brazilian educational technology startup AMentoria has successfully secured a seed funding round totaling approximately $196,000, marking a significant milestone in the company’s trajectory as it looks to scale its operations across Latin America’s largest economy. The investment round was co-led by prominent regional venture capital firms Triaxis Capital and Crescera Capital, acting through the FIP Nordeste Capital Semente vehicle, which focuses on fostering high-growth businesses in specific Brazilian regions.
The funding event also saw robust participation from a diverse group of angel investor networks and individual backers. Among the institutional and individual participants were Insper Angels, Anjos do Brasil, and business leaders Cristiano Faé and Adriano Silveira. Furthermore, the round featured continued support from WOW Aceleradora, an existing investor that previously backed the edtech startup, demonstrating confidence in the company’s ongoing growth and proven business model.
Founded in 2019 in the northeastern Brazilian city of Natal, AMentoria has carved out a specialized niche in the competitive educational technology landscape. The company offers specialized test preparation services and individualized mentoring programs tailored for students preparing to take the ENEM—Brazil’s highly competitive National High School Exam—as well as other rigorous university entrance examinations. Within its broader portfolio, the startup maintains a strong strategic focus on medical school admissions, a notoriously competitive academic path in Brazil that drives immense demand for specialized tutoring and strategic preparation.

AMentoria operates through a dual-channel business model, engaging directly with individual students while simultaneously establishing formal institutional partnerships with schools. This blended approach allows the company to reach a broader audience of students embedded within traditional educational environments while also catering directly to self-directed candidates seeking personalized guidance.
The freshly secured capital injection will be deployed across several strategic growth initiatives designed to accelerate AMentoria’s market penetration and enhance its core service offerings. A primary focus for the company will be the continuous improvement and technological enhancement of its proprietary learning platform, ensuring a seamless digital experience for students and mentors alike. In addition to platform upgrades, AMentoria plans to aggressively expand its network of school partnerships, leveraging its proven institutional model to bring its specialized mentoring methodology to a larger number of educational facilities.
Geographic expansion is another critical pillar of the startup’s growth strategy funded by the new seed round. AMentoria intends to establish official corporate and operational headquarters in São Paulo, the economic and financial powerhouse of Brazil, which will serve as a strategic base to facilitate broader commercial reach. Beyond the São Paulo metropolitan area, the company aims to enter new geographic regions across the diverse Brazilian landscape, bringing its specialized medical school admission preparation to underserved student populations outside its initial stronghold in the northeast.
The investment comes on the heels of strong commercial momentum for the young edtech firm. In recent months, AMentoria’s monthly recurring revenue generated exclusively from its school partnerships has doubled, reflecting an accelerating demand for its institutional offerings and validating its business-to-business growth strategy. To date, the platform has achieved impressive impact metrics within the highly competitive Brazilian higher education ecosystem, having successfully guided more than 1,000 students toward securing coveted admissions spots in medical schools nationwide. Moreover, the startup’s network of dedicated mentors has facilitated more than 40,000 individual mentoring sessions, underscoring the deep, personalized engagement model that differentiates AMentoria in the crowded test-preparation market.
