Argentine Fintech Startup UIN Secures $2 Million Seed Round to Scale Behavioral Infrastructure Across Latin America

Argentine fintech startup UIN has successfully raised $2 million in a seed funding round led by EWA Capital, marking a significant milestone for the company as it seeks to scale its behavioral infrastructure technology across Latin America. The funding round also drew participation from a diverse group of regional and international investors, including Driven VC, Brazilian Venture Capital, ADN, GAIN, New Ventures, AngelHub, Ferter, LAN Accelerator, and prominent entrepreneur Santiago Siri.

The fresh capital will enable UIN to accelerate its growth strategy by expanding its sales and technology teams, refining its core product offerings, and deepening its market penetration across several key Latin American countries. Operating out of a headquarters in Buenos Aires with a dedicated team of twelve professionals, UIN currently provides its services in Argentina, Mexico, Peru, and Ecuador, positioning itself at the intersection of financial technology, behavioral science, and artificial intelligence.

UIN was founded by industry veterans Facundo Corsi and Manuel Heredia, who bring valuable entrepreneurial and technical experience to the venture. Corsi previously founded n1u, a prominent digital wallet that successfully scaled to reach nearly two million users in Argentina, while Heredia served alongside him as the company’s Chief Technology Officer. Drawing from their extensive background in the region’s digital finance ecosystem, the co-founders designed UIN to address one of the most persistent challenges facing modern financial institutions and digital service providers: user engagement and retention.

The startup specializes in developing behavioral infrastructure tailored for banks, digital wallets, fintech platforms, major retailers, and telecommunications companies. At the heart of UIN’s service offering is its proprietary Behavior OS platform, which seamlessly integrates with existing applications through application programming interfaces, commonly known as APIs. By leveraging transaction data combined with artificial intelligence, the platform equips client companies with the analytical capabilities and tools necessary to drastically improve how they interact with their customer bases on a daily basis.

In an increasingly crowded digital financial marketplace, user acquisition is only half the battle for service providers, with long-term retention remaining a critical hurdle. UIN’s platform directly addresses this industry-wide pain point by enabling companies to design and deploy personalized missions, interactive challenges, streaks, and targeted incentives. These features are specifically engineered to reactivate dormant users who have stopped engaging with an app, increase the overall frequency of transactions among active users, effectively promote newly launched features, and ultimately reduce customer churn rates for client organizations.

The participation of a wide array of institutional backers in this seed round underscores the growing regional and international interest in infrastructure-layer fintech solutions. EWA Capital, which led the financing round, brings substantial expertise in backing high-growth technology companies across Latin America. Meanwhile, the inclusion of notable figures such as Santiago Siri, alongside venture firms like Driven VC, Brazilian Venture Capital, ADN, GAIN, New Ventures, AngelHub, Ferter, and LAN Accelerator, highlights a broad consensus regarding the market potential for UIN’s behavioral optimization software.

As UIN deploys the newly acquired capital to scale its operations, the company aims to solidify its footprint in its current markets of Argentina, Mexico, Peru, and Ecuador while exploring broader regional opportunities. By providing the digital infrastructure that helps financial and retail apps keep their users continuously engaged, UIN is carving out a distinct niche within Latin America’s rapidly evolving fintech landscape.
