Fuerza Regida Makes History with 10 Consecutive Sold-Out Shows at Mexico City’s Palacio de los Deportes

Regional Mexican music powerhouse Fuerza Regida is officially making history in Mexico City. The chart-topping, multi-platinum supergroup has shattered expectations and broken records by extending their upcoming engagement at the iconic Palacio de los Deportes to an unprecedented ten consecutive dates for their 2027 tour.

The groundbreaking announcement was officially shared by major concert promoter Ocesa following an overwhelming wave of ticket demand. Initially, the California-based band had rolled out an ambitious eight-show run at the legendary venue, which quickly sold out entirely. Driven by massive public enthusiasm and an insatiable appetite for their live performances, the group added two final dates—January 29 and January 30, 2027—pushing the total number of consecutive performances to an astonishing ten nights.

The sprawling series of concerts will take place across late January and early February, encompassing shows on January 28, 29, 30, and 31, followed by performances on February 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. These massive arena dates form a central pillar of the band’s ongoing "THIS IS OUR DREAM TOUR," a sprawling concert trek that officially commenced this past June with a high-energy opening performance at Petco Park in San Diego, California.

According to official statements released by Ocesa, the band specifically selected the Palacio de los Deportes to host this historic residency-style run because the venue allows for a unique atmosphere. Despite the massive capacity of the venue, the group designed the concert series to foster a deep sense of intimacy and closeness with their dedicated fan base.

To accommodate the addition of the two newly minted performances and to seamlessly align the group’s demanding scheduling commitments with the arena’s complex availability calendar, promoter Ocesa announced a necessary adjustment to the itinerary. The concert originally slated for February 2 has been moved forward to January 28, effectively turning it into the opening night of the entire ten-date run. Meanwhile, all previously announced concert dates will remain entirely unchanged, preserving the schedule for thousands of ticket holders.

Addressing the rescheduling logistics, Ocesa confirmed that tickets already purchased for the original February 2, 2027, date will be automatically honored and remain fully valid for the new opening night on January 28, 2027. For patrons who find themselves unable to attend the newly shifted date, the promoter established a formal refund window running from October 12 through October 31, allowing fans to secure full refunds at their original point of sale or through designated online customer service channels via Ticketmaster Mexico.

General public ticket sales for the newly added performances are scheduled to launch through Ticketmaster Mexico, giving remaining fans one final opportunity to secure a spot at what is shaping up to be one of the most culturally significant live music events of the year.

The historic Palacio de los Deportes milestone arrives during a monumental career peak for Fuerza Regida. In addition to conquering international box offices, the group is set to receive the prestigious Billboard Vanguard Award at the upcoming 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards. The accolade honors a trailblazing career defined by relentless musical innovation, boundary-pushing creativity, and an unmistakable artistic vision that has fundamentally expanded the global footprint of Mexican music, introducing the genre to entirely new demographics of listeners worldwide.

Beyond accepting the Vanguard Award, the group stands as a dominant force at the upcoming ceremony as a finalist across twelve distinct categories. To celebrate their massive impact on the charts and culture, the band is slated to deliver a high-profile live performance during the awards broadcast, which will air live on Thursday, October 22, at 8 p.m. ET on Telemundo and Peacock directly from the James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida.

The festivities surrounding the group will kick off just two days prior during Billboard Latin Music Week in Miami Beach. There, the members of Fuerza Regida are scheduled to sit down for an exclusive "Superstar Q&A" panel, offering fans and industry insiders a rare glimpse into their creative process, business acumen, and meteoric rise. To cap off the eventful week, the group will headline the marquee Billboard En Vivo concert later that same evening.

Formed in San Bernardino, California, in 2015, and fronted by charismatic lead vocalist Jesús Ortiz Paz, widely known as JOP, Fuerza Regida has steadily evolved into one of the most influential and culturally resonant acts within the broader Latin music landscape. By proudly honoring their deep-seated traditional roots while fearlessly pushing the boundaries of the genre into unexplored modern territories, the group has cultivated a signature sound and identity. This unique approach is deeply informed by their bicultural upbringing and everyday experiences, striking a chord with millions of listeners far beyond traditional geographical boundaries and demographic lines.
