Chilean Food Trade Fintech Loads Secures $15M Debt Facility From Addem Capital to Scale Embedded Financing

Chilean food trade fintech Loads has secured a $15 million revolving credit facility from Mexican structured debt firm Addem Capital, marking a significant milestone for the cross-border platform as it looks to expand its financial footprint across the agricultural supply chain in Latin America.

Founded by Larry Gil, Loads operates an innovative cross-border food trade platform designed to seamlessly connect buyers, suppliers, and essential financing within a single ecosystem. The newly acquired capital injection will be strategically deployed to provide vital working capital to small and medium-sized agricultural businesses. This financial backing will empower regional producers and exporters to ship vital container loads of fresh produce to international markets without the traditional burden of paying suppliers entirely upfront, a friction point that has historically slowed down growth for smaller players in the sector.

Under the operational model facilitated by the platform, loans average approximately $35,000 with flexible terms of about 35 days, perfectly tailored to match the cash flow cycles of international shipping, customs clearance, and wholesale distribution. This embedded financing approach addresses one of the most persistent liquidity challenges faced by agricultural exporters who must manage heavy overhead costs long before their perishable goods reach overseas shelves and payments are finally settled by buyers.

Loads secures $15M credit facility from Addem Capital

The timing of the $15 million facility aligns with a period of remarkable operational momentum for Loads. During the first half of 2026, the company successfully moved an impressive 11.4 million kilograms of food. The platform’s trade volume is heavily concentrated in high-demand global fresh produce categories, specifically avocados, grapes, apples, and kiwis, which form the backbone of South America’s thriving agricultural export economy.

This robust movement of goods has translated into substantial financial growth for the fintech. In the previous fiscal year, Loads generated approximately $12 million in revenue. Looking ahead, the company is scaling aggressively, fueled by the new debt facility and increasing adoption of its digital platform, and expects to quadruple that revenue figure over the course of 2026.

The partnership with Addem Capital provides Loads with the institutional backing necessary to deepen its penetration in the regional market and enhance its embedded finance offerings. As global supply chains continue to demand greater agility, transparency, and liquidity, platforms that bridge the gap between physical logistics and financial services are becoming increasingly critical to the success of emerging agricultural enterprises throughout Latin America.
